Hot weather style?

It's a trend now to wear shaylas or long selendang and wrap it in layers (..and layers). It must show the inner scarf a little to have the contrast effect..he he.. and of course both must match the top you wear! When I see the ladies out there wearing them, ooohh...aaahhh...so the very nice! And when I put them on, ooohh...aaahhh...not bad at all, hehe. But, with Kuala Lumpur being one of the warmest cities in the world right now, where temperatue ranges between 29 to 36 degrees Celcius there other points to consider. Located so closely to the equator, the weather in KL varies very little, if at all, throughout the year. It is just wise to select the right clothing before leaving the house, or you'll end up soaked in your own sweat! Call yourself a fashion victim then, hahaha!

Luckily it's not hard at all to get nice shaylas made of thin fabrics in KL, and they are reasonably cheap. In our favourite weekly Friday market near my office, these type of shaylas are sold for only RM7 - RM15! And there are lots and lots of choices, ok...! Pheeeee...

Can wear like this...

or like this...

how about this..?

or, go GAGA in this..?

Despite knowing this fact, I, being a normal human being who is always cheated by first impressions...hahaha...bought 2 shaylas of same material last week. The two-toned colours are gorgeous, I swear, or I wouldn't have bought them!

Look at this!

But, I only realised that they are much too warm to be worn at day time when I wanted to do so yesterday..huhuhu...and i think even at nite, considering the weather is so humid nowadays! So gotta keep them back in the wardrobe and wait till the right time comes... sigh..
